Job Description
This is an opportunity to build a company together with a start-up, building a super app. We are looking for a proactive/self-driven personality to become one of the core team members.
About Halen: Halen is a user-friendly “Super-App” anchored by a franchise business model, offering multiple services in a $1.5 trillion immediately addressable market.
Responsibilities include: Coding, designing, building, and maintaining; directing software development projects; producing, testing, and debugging code; leading engineers and developers.
Job brief: Looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimize web-based application performance, collaborating with front-end developers and integrating data solutions.
Requirements
- Strong modern Typescript Node.js development skills
- Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Batch, CloudFront, S3, and Lambda
- Experience with Docker and container-based development in a Linux environment
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Bonus: Experience with big data or geospatial data services

- EQUITY-BASED opportunity with part-time hours (full-time once launched late-2023).
- Selection process consists of 3 steps: Screening discussion, case study presentation, and management interview.
