Job Description

The role involves working on various aspects of production, including asset building, lighting, shading, texturing, and compositing FX using tools like Maya and possibly Houdini. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of animation, scripting, and compositing processes and be able to collaborate with different teams effectively.

Requirements

- 3-5+ years of experience in a production environment.

- Excellent knowledge of Maya; familiarity with Houdini is a plus.

- Proficiency in asset building, including modeling, texturing, and some rigging.

- Ability to develop, execute, light, render, and test comp FX.

- Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and texturing principles and techniques.

- Good understanding of animation fundamentals and motion.

- Familiarity with pipeline issues and working between multiple packages.

- Knowledge of scripting in Python, HScript, or MEL is advantageous.

- Working knowledge of at least one compositing application like Nuke is a plus.

- Strong communication skills.
