Job Description:

The Lead Data Scientist with Java will be responsible for designing and developing NLP applications for medical entity extraction and text mining. They will also design databases to store NLP entities, train and evaluate models, and remain updated in the field of machine learning. Additionally, the role involves designing end-to-end Java applications, finding and implementing algorithms and tools for NLP tasks, and extending ML libraries for NLP applications.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have at least 13 years of experience in healthcare, with specific experience in clinical NLP, strong Java development skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare domain. They should be familiar with Ontology tools and technologies, have proven experience in NLP/NLU technologies, and possess knowledge of NLP techniques, Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks. Additionally, the candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities and be able to write robust and testable code.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
