Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking a .Net Developer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The developer will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code using .NET technologies, collaborating with teams to prioritize requirements, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying updated on emerging trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development
• Proficiency in C# and .NET core fundamentals
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of OOPs, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Proficiency in development tools like Visual Studio, git, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with version control systems like Git

Desired Skills

The following skills are desired but not mandatory:

• Experience with ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core
• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit and xUnit
• Familiarity with distributed databases like CockroachDB
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka

Additional Information

• The pay range for this position is $63.68 - $71.68 per hour.
