Job Description
We are a UK Fintech company focused on solving data challenges in the wealth management industry. We are seeking an experienced data-focused backend developer to enhance our product, integrations, and APIs. The role involves shaping a microservices ecosystem and working remotely to develop new features and functionalities.
Requirements
- UK Based
- Expertise in Laravel / PHP (10.x / 8.1 +) and MySQL
- Proficiency in APIs, data handling, transformations, and calculations
- Experience with TDD using phpunit/pest
- Familiarity with SOLID Design Principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently
Additional Information
- Initial contract-based role with potential for permanent position
- Salary range of £300.00-£500.00 per day
- Opportunity to work from home on weekdays
- Preferred experience in financial services and domain-driven design
- Knowledge of PSR coding standards and AWS stack is advantageous
- Full-stack development skills with Vue.JS and tailwind CSS
- Interest in ML, data automation, and database query optimization
- Valid work authorization in the United Kingdom required
