Job Description

MarathonFoto is seeking freelance photographers to capture portrait photos of runners with their medals or action photos of runners on the course during the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon. Photographers must be dynamic, outgoing, and experienced in sport photography. No selling or post-production editing is required.

Requirements

  • Photography equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of photography equipment and techniques
  • Ability to stand, move quickly, and work in outdoor conditions for the duration of the event
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances during the event
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old

Other Information

Pay: $25/hour with a possibility of increase based on performance. Time commitment is from 7:00am to 1:00pm. Interested candidates need to provide their photography experience, equipment details, and availability for the event. MarathonFoto provides media cards and clear photography guidelines. This is a freelance, event-based position with potential for more events based on scheduling in your area.
