Our client is seeking a Senior Back End Developer to join their dynamic team in London. What you’ll do:
- Developing and maintaining back end services with a focus on performance optimisation.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Implementing data storage solutions and ensuring security compliance.
- Managing hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment).
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, and Python.
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
