Contract: Temporary, Full Time, Intern

Job Description

The New Orleans Saints Associate Program is a ten-month intern-level program that exposes entry-level candidates to the business side of sports. These positions work full-time hours in various departments within the organization. This temporary position is based in the New Orleans, LA area, and will run for ten months, starting on July 8, 2024.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with modern technologies to create and modify football applications
  • Optimizing existing applications and processes for efficiency
  • Collaborating with other developers and end users to troubleshoot and solve issues
  • Building custom reports
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
  • Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, SQL, Angular, Java, Python, and C#
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.)
  • Experience with Git or similar version control software
  • Ability to problem solve and learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a small team
  • Ability to multitask efficiently to meet aggressive deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

  • Comfortable developing in Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with maintaining and building ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with the .NET Framework
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of the game of football (NFL)
