Job Description
The University of West Florida is seeking a part-time Web Developer to support the CyberSkills2Work program website. The role involves tasks such as creating new website elements, updating existing content, and managing the development process. This position reports to the program coordinator.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AWS Services, DNS services, SQL/NoSQL databases, JSON Web Token authentication, and user sessions
- Experience with REST APIs, Model-View-Controller architecture, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Ability to assemble software requirements, specifications, and testing documents
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communications skills
- Studied or graduated with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related major
- Some experience with Python, Django, Docker, HTML/CSS/SCCS, ORMs, GitHub
- Experience with web content development and software development processes/documentation
