Job Description

The Battery Lab is seeking a temporary database developer to design a system that tracks manufacturing details with products via multiple spreadsheets, assigns a serial number and barcode, and then syncs this information with a cloud-based service. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a database to gather, store, and communicate this information, as well as overseeing the database design and implementation process. Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of database design and development principles are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design database systems for the Battery Lab.
• Test databases for proper operation and accuracy.
• Develop database documentation and operational manuals.
• Integrate database modules with the Lab Director and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience with database design and development.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Excel/Access.
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
