Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to support an exciting project with a renowned public sector client on an initial 15-month FTC.

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the implementation, design, and development of software throughout the agile development lifecycle of Revenue, Online, and Corporate Applications.

The role holder provides general and/or specialist expertise to ensure that the software developed meets the quality expectations of stakeholders and standards expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure applications, components, and tools as per technical plans set by the Development Technical Lead
• Follow and contribute to Software Development Standards and Best Practices
• Participate in meetings, delivery events, and uphold Technology and Data standards
• Create technical material for governance processes and provide development expertise for evaluating new technologies
• Fix software application defects according to agreed developer operations practices

Requirements

• Expertise in developing, supporting, and maintaining data-centric, highly complex, and calculation-heavy end-user web applications
• Experience in Microsoft .Net based applications and API’s for large-scale, high performance, transactional systems
• Knowledge of on-premise development, DevOps, and deployment methodologies and tools
• Proven track record of delivering business-critical systems with tight iterations and great collaboration with various teams
