Job Description:

This role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation for various C5ISR solutions, including system manuals, hardware manuals, software manuals, and more. The responsibilities include collaborating with experts and team members to gather information, translating complex technical details into user-friendly guides, updating documentation as products evolve, managing documentation repositories, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in all documents. The role also involves creating illustrations, diagrams, and collaborating with software developers to describe functionality and screen components.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with 5-7 years of technical writing experience, preferably in C5ISR solutions or related industries. Proficiency in document editing and publishing tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Photoshop, and other similar software is required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with C5ISR technologies, and ability to work collaboratively are essential. Knowledge of DoD contracting, military terminology, and strong organizational skills are preferred.
