Job Description

We are seeking a Freelance Motion Designer to join the team creating premium longform content for CNN Original Series. The Motion Designer will work alongside our Senior Motion Designers to design, animate and execute visual identities and animated storytelling for our longform serialized content. This role requires maintaining high visual standards and a strong attention to detail, client, audience, story, and context. Proficiency in Adobe Suite with emphasis on After Effects and Photoshop is essential.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in designing and creating motion graphics
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Maxon Cinema4D
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from accredited art school with emphasis in graphic design or related field
• Portfolio showcasing design/motion graphics work
• Must live in the New York City tri-state area and work on-site 3 days a week

The Legal Bits

In compliance with local law, the compensation for this role ranges from $86,457.00 to $160,564.00 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors such as market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and performance. Warner Bros.
