Job Description
We are looking for a Java Developer to join a top client in Toronto for a 5-month contract, with possible extension. Responsibilities include analyzing data, suggesting improvements to applications, translating ideas into technical solutions, and ensuring software quality.
Requirements
Must have skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of Java development experience (Java 17/Springboot3)
- 5+ years of experience in building public and internal REST APIs
- 2+ years with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk) in 2 recent projects
- 5+ years using Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Bitbucket in 2 recent projects
Nice-to-have skills include FI/Digital banking experience, Agile environment experience, and working on Mac laptops.
