Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Designer to join our creative studio team for a fixed term of 12 months. The role involves providing creative designs for Wickes’ communication channels to enhance promotional activities and customer experience. As part of a dynamic creative team, you will be responsible for elevating the customer experience and sales potential through high-quality creative design work.

You will be tasked with developing creative concepts and producing visual solutions to meet the requirements of our communication channels. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, creative, and collaborative, contributing innovative ideas for assets to be used on our social media platforms.

Requirements:

• An online design professional with experience in commercial web design
• Strong communication skills, team-player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a multichannel retail environment is essential
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Ability to stay updated on design trends and digital innovations
• Experience in creating engaging and inspiring content
• Knowledge of social media best practices and platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube
