Job Description

We’re looking for outstanding DevOps Engineers to develop, build and maintain our flagship service, Universal Credit and our Working Age Benefits. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a multi-functional agile delivery team and play a key role in shaping and delivering automated solutions.

Our DevOps Engineers collaborate with various team members to build products and applications, drawing value from teamwork and innovation. You will be part of a supportive Engineering community, enhancing your skills and creativity within the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a DevOps environment e.g., continuous integration & deployment
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment while meeting specific deadlines
  • Experience with Unix/Linux based platforms and scripting languages
  • Experience in developing and supporting cloud-based applications in AWS
  • Knowledge of implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab CI
  • Experience designing and implementing best practices using IaC tools like Terraform and monitoring tools such as Prometheus & Grafana
