Job Description
Lead Android Developer needed to design, develop, and maintain native Android components for the Kroger Ecommerce App. Responsibilities include guiding technical direction, writing clean code, providing mentorship to junior developers, and collaborating with Product, Design, and QA teams.
Requirements
• 5+ years of Android development experience
• Senior Android Developer experience with strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack compose, etc.
• Proficiency in Android build, test, debug, and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with concurrency, performance optimization techniques, and architecture patterns
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate requirements into components
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for Mobile Development and the grocery industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards and roadmaps.
- Implement overall infrastructure/middleware components per project.
- Design and successfully implement infrastructure components per project.
- Create operational procedures, processes, and scripts.
- Follow change/release management practices.
- Support and maintain infrastructure solutions utilizing necessary tools and technologies.
- Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required.
