Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Visual Communications Designer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Visual Communications Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the internal communications efforts by ensuring brand consistency across various platforms and deliverables.

This includes aligning brand elements in PowerPoint presentations, updating visual elements in SharePoint, providing support for visual diagrams, assisting with Viva Engage templates, and maintaining consistency in newsletter headers and other materials.

The primary responsibility of the Visual Communications Designer is to create designs, concepts, and layouts based on design principles and client requirements. This role requires a high level of creativity, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in design or a certificate in graphic design required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in graphic design, with a focus on storytelling and branding.
• Proficiency in Figma, Accessibility, PowerPoint (expertise in management and consistent graphics), Viva Engage, and SharePoint (applying branding to SharePoint).
• Experience in financial services industry or familiarity with financial concepts is a plus.
• Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work with various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
• Proficiency in Adobe publishing and graphics software.
