Job Description

We are looking for x2 Java Developers (Full Stack) to work on a project involving the development and migration of a legacy solution to Azure infrastructure.

The key responsibilities include:

• Java programming (version 7+)
• Database development using PostgreSQL
• Utilizing Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot and plugins
• Developing RESTful services
• Creating web applications using Angular
• Implementing testing frameworks such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience working with Azure services
• Working with the full software development lifecycle
• Source version control experience, ideally with Git
• Working with Agile methodologies
• Implementing Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and Maven
• Understanding and implementing cyber security best practices

Requirements

The ideal candidates should have:

• Java programming expertise (version 7+)
• Proficiency in database development using PostgreSQL
• Experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot
• Skills in RESTful service development
• Knowledge of web app development using Angular
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with Azure services
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in source version control, preferably Git
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and Maven
• Understanding of cyber security and its implementation in development

Other Information

This is an onsite role in the Bristol area, requiring the candidate to be present x5 days a week. The initial contract duration is 3 months and falls outside IR35.
