Job Description
The Senior Producer, Social Media will produce, write, and edit social media content and copy for 60 MINUTES on existing and emerging social media platforms. They will devise new content ideas to extend the 60 Minutes brand on social media for audience growth and revenue.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of network, cable, or local TV news experience
- Strong editorial judgement and exceptional writing skills
- Relationship building skills to pitch, execute, and measure concepts
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Editorial fairness and accuracy in content creation
- Video and photo editing skills, familiarity with Adobe Premiere/Photoshop/Creative Suite or Avid
- Understanding of TV production process and social media’s impact on audience engagement and growth
- Flexibility for irregular hours during breaking news cycles

- Hiring Salary Range: $115,000.0 - 120,000.0
