Job Description
We are looking for an analytical and creative DevOps System Consultant for our Data & Dynamics Team to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and continuously innovate Long View’s automation capabilities. This role will involve working with our Automation Services team to solve complex business problems using integrated technology and tools. You will play a key role in shaping how cloud management technology is utilized by Long View and our clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Consultant role
- Experience with coding, code repositories, mentoring junior developers, and software development lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, SQL, user interfaces, web frameworks, repo migration, Java Code Libraries, Oracle Databases, CI/CD, and automation
- Good communication and time management skills
- Experience with Puppet or Chef, message bus technology, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field would be an asset
