Job Description:

The Sound Engineer is responsible for recording, mixing, and editing music and audio during worship services, events, and recordings. They must set up, troubleshoot, and operate sound equipment to ensure optimal sound quality and train other team members on equipment operation.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Formal live sound training and minimum 3 years of professional Sound Engineering experience.

- Experience in a church or worship setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experience with live sound engineering in large venues.

- Ability to mix different music genres, including gospel.

- Proficiency with analog and digital consoles.

- Strong attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Graphic Design, Video Editing, and Digital Audio Workstations.

- Ability to operate a Behringer Wing Digital Mixer effectively.

- Quick thinking, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work under pressure.

- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs., stand and work for extended periods.

Other Information:

Hours: 20-25 hours/week, non-exempt, with flexibility for special events and funerals on weekdays and weekends.
