Job Description

We are seeking an experienced developer and thinker to perform monthly maintenance, security checks, and customization of plugins for our e-commerce site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress and its framework, manage WordPress sites via a GIT workflow, work well with a junior developer, possess strong JavaScript skills, be proficient in PHP, knowledgeable in WooCommerce, experienced with the Bookly plugin, and have built WordPress plugins in the past. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in database maintenance, site speed optimization, security measures such as WordFence, regular back-ups, database cleans ups, and plugin updates. A good understanding of HTML and CSS is also required.

Requirements

- Minimum of 10 years of experience with WordPress - Ability to manage WordPress sites via a GIT workflow - Proficiency in JavaScript and PHP - Strong knowledge of WooCommerce and experience with the Bookly plugin - Experience in building WordPress plugins - Skills in database maintenance and optimization for site speed - Familiarity with WordFence for security - Proficient in HTML and CSS - Strong organizational and communication skills - Capacity to keep projects within budget and time constraints - Availability to prioritize our needs over other clients

Assessment

Shortlisted developers will be required to take an assessment as part of the selection process.
