Job Description
The Editorial Producer at CNN will be responsible for booking panels, conducting pre-interviews, reacting quickly to breaking news situations, developing guest relationships, setting up interviews, and researching provocative stories. The role may also involve travel for breaking news bookings and being in the control room during the show.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of news production experience, strong knowledge of politics and current events, ability to multi-task, a college degree or equivalent industry experience, awareness of guests/panelists’ political leanings, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple guests and develop long-term relationships.
