Job Description
Bonnier Books UK is seeking a talented and highly creative designer/senior designer to join the Templar Books team. The role involves designing commercial and market-leading picture books, board books, and novelty books. Responsibilities include nurturing illustrator talent, creating book layouts, brainstorming new ideas, negotiating and commissioning illustrators, project management, and ensuring design quality.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in children’s books with strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud. They must have experience managing illustrators, freelancers, and agents, negotiating contracts, maintaining schedules, and collaborating effectively with other teams. A passion for children’s books, expertise in picture books and novelty book design, and strong communication skills are essential.
