Job Description
LFTFIELD, a Toronto-based Interactive Media & Design Agency, is seeking a talented Web Developer to join on a Freelance or Contract basis. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of integrating LLMs (AI), working with APIs, and expertise in Javascript, Node, and Vue. The role involves handling day-to-day client needs and working on new projects.
Requirements
The right candidate should have:
- Knowledge of web development, especially Javascript, Node, and Vue
- Experience with LLMs and their APIs
- Ability to leverage WordPress as a Headless CMS
- Creative ability with a sense of design, particularly in digital
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize projects, work independently, and as part of a team
Technical Skills Required
The technical skills sought after include:
- Proficiency in coding with Javascript, Node, Vue, and other common platforms
- Documentation and maintenance of code
- Experience with WordPress and the Genesis Framework
- Working with Analytics and Reporting tools
- Front-end technologies proficiency (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)
- Mobile-first responsive website development
- Understanding of PHP, back-end development, and other coding knowledge
- Front-end frameworks knowledge (Bootstrap, React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
Other Information
- Nice-to-have skills include Agency or freelance experience, a degree in Computer Science or related field, willingness to learn new technologies, and experience with AR, VR, 3D graphics, etc.
- This is a Freelance or Contract position with the ability to work remotely.
- Compensation is negotiable with a competitive hourly wage initially, moving towards a monthly retainer.
