Job Description:

Looking for an enthusiastic Freelance Web Developer to join our small team to work on multiple ecommerce client projects. This opportunity is currently home based with regular virtual meetings for updates and project briefing. Has the potential to turn into a full-time role. Retail Ecommerce Web Development experience desired. Platforms: Bigcommerce & Woocommerce.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new projects
• Maintaining and improving client websites
• Testing/Bug fixing
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology/bring new ideas
• Communicate with clients/3rd party providers

Requirements:

• Proficient in front end technologies: HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Javascript, AJAX
• Provide accurate timelines and meet deadlines
• UX or UI designing experience
• Problem-solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication

Useful Skills:

• Experience with Bigcommerce Stencil Templates
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Experience with PHP frameworks
• Creative Design

Additional Information:

• Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Freelance
• Contract length: 6-12 months
• Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
