Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level developer to join our expanding development team working in an AGILE manner using Kanban methodology. Responsibilities will include developing microservices, web, API, and server applications for internal systems, as well as requirements analysis, systems documentation, testing, and providing innovative solutions. The role primarily involves development while also supporting existing applications.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Development Stack including MVC and .Net Core
• Experience with SQL Server 2019, Windows Server 2019, and Microsoft Windows 10
• Understanding of source control, with experience in Azure DevOps/GIT being advantageous
• Familiarity with standard project life cycle processes
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with peers, users, and third parties
• Proactive and enquiring nature with a willingness to take on various responsibilities
• Desirable technical skills include 3 years’ experience in front and back-end development, app development with Xamarin/Maui and MS App Centre, and an ability to work with new technologies

Other Accountabilities

• Designing software for efficiency and supportability
• Creating databases according to Superdrug standards
• Ensuring clear, well-structured, and standards-compliant coding
• QA coding of team members and develop Superdrug standards
• Producing unit test plans, carrying out unit testing, and documenting system changes
• Writing user documentation, training internal customers, and implementing system changes with proper procedures
• Managing small projects and keeping up with industry IT developments and Superdrug IT strategy
• Professional communication with internal customers and external contacts
• Coaching team members in technical skills
