Job Description
The Videographer is an integral part of the storytelling process and will be responsible for producing high-quality video projects from concept development to camera/audio/lighting direction, and post-production editing/delivery. These videos will be posted by our clients across every social platform. The Videographer is expected to coordinate with senior management, take ownership of video projects, capture activations/productions, and edit videos for social media, sometimes with minimal notice. Additionally, the role requires working weekends when needed and coordinating across all business departments, including Brand and Entertainment. This position emphasizes collaboration and creativity within the team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and execute production workflows and schedules.
- Adapt to ever-changing requests; design edits and/or revisions as necessary.
- Take direction and produce an approved finished product in a timely manner.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other editing software for advanced video production.
- Produce, shoot, lead, and guide multiple original video projects from concept to final delivery.
- Present concepts with storyboards, moodboards, scripts, and other production design samples.
- Bring unique creative vision and strong editorial voice; identify new content sources and storytelling formats.
- Ensure fact-checking, licensing, research, and art/video consistency for projects.
- Create shot lists, interview questions, and occasionally source talent for video production.
- Maintain a daily schedule to ensure timely delivery and collaboration within the Get Engaged ecosystem.
- Assist with video production software and equipment maintenance.
- Archive all media appropriately for easy retrieval.
- Remain highly motivated, work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize assignments.
- Collaborate and interact professionally with team peers, clients, and interdepartmental colleagues.
- Stay aware of new creative trends in video and digital media.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and mobile editing apps.
- Possess technical knowledge and problem-solving skills for translating abstract concepts into deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects.
- Provide web-links to completed work, demo reels, or other content supporting the application.
- Proficiency in video post-production using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Ability to lead and influence large groups in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Solid writing skills; proficient in Google Docs and Sheets.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong video production skills with hands-on knowledge of video and audio in a digital environment.
- Collaboration skills with video editors, graphic designers, account managers, and clients.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to travel significantly, sometimes with minimal notice.
