Job Description

Many Makers, the content division of Sidekick and part of Allison Worldwide, is seeking a Junior Animator. In this role, you will combine your motion design and animation skills with excellent attention to detail to create and incorporate motion graphics and visual effects for the agency’s live action projects. You will also support the senior Creative Team in executing sophisticated animation and design projects.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with both the Creative and Account Management teams to understand project goals, storyboard ideas, and ensure final deliverables meet desired quality and objectives.
• Develop strong relationships with colleagues, clients, staff, and suppliers through effective communication throughout the campaign processes.
• Adapt video assets across multiple social media and broadcast formats, exporting content to precise specifications.
• Work within branding guidelines and develop a clear understanding of them.
• Organize, consolidate, and archive all animation-related projects upon delivery.
• Contribute original ideas and develop concepts alongside Senior Creatives.
• Create content for the Agency’s own social media channels, website, and case studies.
• Receive and execute internal, stakeholder, and client feedback.
• Stay updated with video, motion design, and animation trends, tools, and technologies.
• Take an active interest in marketing solutions and share relevant information with colleagues.

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• Proficient in Adobe Video suite including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Skilled in Adobe Design suite including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with sound design and audio editing techniques.
• Good knowledge of at least one 3D program such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Ability to plan and organize work efficiently to meet project aims.
• Reliability in completing tasks and care about associated outcomes.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative in clarifying roles and responsibilities with an understanding of contributions to projects.
• Inquisitive nature with a desire to improve understanding and work outcomes.
