Job Description

Position: Lead Product Designer (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: London or Manchester (Hybrid Working)

Moonpig Group is seeking a strong product design leader to join our Product Design Team. The Lead Product Designer will coordinate design within their domain and enhance the customer experience, directly impacting strategy and roadmap. The role involves managing two direct reports while supporting the customer team as the sole designer, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class user experience across various platforms.

Requirements

Experience:

• 8+ years in product design and user research, particularly in fast-paced environments.
• 3+ years managing Product Designers.
• Experience in coaching and guiding Product Designers.
• Hands-on design experience and capability to balance user needs with commercial goals.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce domain is a plus.
• Management of geographically distributed teams is a plus.
• Experience in both web and native applications is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to guide a team towards common goals.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with UX Research and collaboration with Researchers and data teams.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, prototyping tools, and user testing software.
