NetForemost, Inc - .NET (+ Mobile) Developer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack .NET Developer with solid experience across legacy Windows Forms (WinForms), modern .NET MAUI, and ASP.NET web applications. You’ll be responsible for building, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software solutions deployed on Windows Server with PostgreSQL backends. You’ll also collaborate closely using tools like Jira and GitHub in a structured Agile environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a mix of desktop, mobile, and web projects, ideal for developers who enjoy diverse problem-solving across platforms and frameworks.

Application Development

• Maintain and enhance existing WinForms desktop applications.
• Design and develop cross-platform mobile/desktop apps using .NET MAUI.
• Build and maintain ASP.NET MVC / Razor Pages web applications.

System Integration & Backend

• Implement business logic in C# with .NET 6/7/8+.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database schema design, queries, and optimization.
• Create RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services as needed.

Testing & Deployment

• Configure and deploy applications on Windows Server (IIS).
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar.

Agile & Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira to manage sprints and tasks.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Document technical solutions and provide guidance to junior developers.

RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with .NET technologies: WinForms, ASP.NET (MVC or WebForms), and MAUI.
• Strong knowledge of C#, XAML, and multi-platform app development principles.
• Experience with Windows Server (IIS) deployment and configuration.
• Solid understanding of SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL (or willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Agile development experience using Jira or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Blazor or other SPA frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployment on Windows.
• Understanding of DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Background in migrating legacy WinForms apps to MAUI or WPF.
