Hi, my name is Audrey Adom. I am an imaginative artist with about 3 to 4 years of freelancing experience, mostly in traditional artistry. My works include the use of different mediums (paints, colored pencils, spray paint, charcoal, ballpoint pen, etc. on surfaces like canvases, paper, walls, and objects). Creating art has always been a personal journey and experience for me given my dark past. Channeling this energy, the color black has always been my base and mostly finish color. Discovering art at an early age with making just birthday cards from manila cardboards with my twin sister to creating detailed drawings of houses and homes inspired from both my travels with my mum and twin within Ghana and within my neighborhood when living in the Upper East Region. Unfortunately, I had to create art in hiding since my family was not so interested in the creative world. Being the shadows for a while and dealing with the fear of being seen and doubting myself, being in the dark helped heal me in time and brought me to me the surface with my stay in Accra, Ghana (The tiny, big city and my worst nightmare).
