I am Stella Houedan, an illustrator and 2D animation filmmaker from Benin. Passionate about visual storytelling and African symbols, I explore the relationship between culture, imagination, and identity in my work. Trained at the Animation and Graphic Research Workshop (AARG) in Ouidah, I have participated in several international artist residencies, including ANIMATO MADA in Madagascar and the Francophone Writing Residency in Meknes, Morocco. My creations have been presented at festivals such as the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the FICNC (Cotonou), and MADAGASCOURT.
