I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Oregon State University, where I learned about the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children and families. For three years, I worked as a Floater Associate Teacher at Nike, where I supported teachers of various age groups, from infants to preschoolers, and formed relationships with the children, families, and staff. In my role as a Floater Associate Teacher, I applied my skills in teaching children, content creation, and attention to detail to create engaging and educational activities, materials, and environments for the children. I also collaborated with the teachers and the Nike team to ensure the quality and safety of the programs and services. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow, and I am eager to continue my professional development in the field of user experience design. I have completed Google UX Design by Google on Coursera, and I have gained expertise in Adobe Illustrator. Within UX Design, I am passionate about inclusivity and the core of designing products that are user-friendly.
