Karat - Vegilantes

Vegilantes - A vegan brand. I was commissioned to create some characters based on popular vegetables but with attitude for a vegan clothing brand. I really enjoyed playing with these characters, making them vibrant and extra chunky. This style is one of my favourites to create in. Other characters 'Broc' for Broccoli and Leekz are also there with an Aubergine named 'Genie' and a corn on the cob named 'Caan' who was based on the artist Rihanna.…Vegilantes - A vegan brand. Was commissioned to create an illustration based on the clients recent visit to Paris. This was drawn on Photoshop, in hindsight, I would have used a lot more shortcuts as I ended up drawing half the tower almost beam for beam and then flipping it on itself. This proved to be very time consuming. It worked out in the end, the client was extremely happy with the result.…

A sattire twist on Nintendo's Toad character. 'Afroad' idea came from an Afro'd Toad. Bringing awareness to diversity in pop culture icons by blending cultures. The identifiable afro 'pick' or afro comb was styled much like the Lakitu character as I wanted to add a touch that was familiar but different to make sure it looked like it belonged in that world. Merky Ace - Sticks And Stones Album Art

Was commissioned to create a piece for a client with the theme 'SAS' at the time, Modern Warfare 2019 was released. This influenced my design, and with my style taking influence from both Japanese anime/manga as well as western comic styles like The Boondocks, I came up with this. Saint Chase and Seung Eun Kim are 2 artists that had heavily influence my style and it shows here. With the artist being called 'Merky Ace' I thought I would add an Ace of spades design into his shotgun with him leading his squadron through a back alley echoing the vibe of the project which I heard ahead of release. With a Kowloon neon ambience in the lighting design. There is also alot of Capcom influence here shown in the glove designs, with a cameo from Ghost himself in his SAS wetsuit alongside.
