I was the photographer on a photoshoot, retouched the photos and worked with a copywriter to produce the materials.…
    Advertising Insert for Wacker Neuson Corporation
    Part of campaign for Wacker Neuson Corporation Construction Equipment – die-cut magazine insert. Wacker, with an office in the United States merged with Neuson and Kramer in Germany. They were looking to recruit new dealers in the United States and introduce a new line of compact construction equipment including wheel loaders, excavators and dumpers. My role as an Art Director was to concept many ideas for a magazine insert and e-Blast campaign directing leads to call an 800 number or sign up on the web site. An incentive to sign up was to receive a free T-shirt. Once they had signed up, they were able to get to more information on a 3-page microsite I designed. I was the photographer on a photoshoot, retouched the photos and worked with a copywriter to produce the materials. The e-Blast was sent out to a mail list from a landscape magazine. Within minutes of the e-Blast going out, we were able to see dozens of people around the country who had signed up. I heard it was the most successful e-Blast the company had ever sent out. Later, at a construction equipment trade show in Chicago, within a few minutes of walking in, I noticed someone reading the insert intently. The insert included photos that I had taken and retouched (as some of the equipment was red and would be actually yellow when sold in the U.S). It also featured a rendering I created with Photoshop of a dealer exterior which hadn’t been built yet. The next phase of communications materials featured a coop kit, DVD with dealer launch materials such as photos, radio scripts, billboard templates, truck decal placement and newspaper ad slicks I designed. I also worked with a video producer to record and produce a video shown at construction equipment trade shows.…
