Hello, I’m Abdul Rahman Farhan, a Mechatronic Engineer focused on computer vision, sensor fusion and real-time perception for autonomous systems. I have hands-on experience developing monocular depth estimation, LiDAR/radar/camera data fusion, and end-to-end perception pipelines, using ROS, OpenCV, PyTorch, and C++/Python to build robust robotic solutions.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and conducting a Master Thesis with Sony Europe on multimodal detections and network training. I enjoy cross-sensor calibration, 3D geometry, and collaboration across disciplines to advance autonomous perception in real-world scenarios.
