I am Professor Adel Said, a Croatian director of Egyptian origin. I completed my studies in Italy, earning a degree in theater directing from the prestigious National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome, Silvio D'Amico, where I also obtained a Master's degree in New Mix. Having lived in Italy for many years, I have developed a rich and diverse artistic career spanning opera, theater, musical theater, screenwriting, and film. My background: I had the honor of working as a co-director alongside renowned Italian opera directors such as Franco Zeffirelli and Vittorio Rossi, as well as Professor Attilio Colonello. Together, we presented Avicenna, a groundbreaking production with a bilingual English-Arabic cast, which premiered in Doha in 2003.
