I am Adrian Sebastian Werum, born in 1969 in Mainz, Germany. With a career spanning over three decades, I have worked extensively as a musical director, composer, and orchestrator. I’ve had the honor to premiere Roman Polanski’s “Dance of the Vampires” in Vienna and on Broadway, and have collaborated with renowned orchestras throughout Europe. I’m passionate about blending classical and ethnic music, which led me to found the Orchester der Kulturen - World Symphony in 2010. My work has earned me several awards, including the prestigious Golden Mask Award for “Hollywood Diva” in Russia.
Throughout my career, I have held roles as a musical supervisor for various international productions and served as a lecturer in arranging and orchestration. Since 2012, I have been the composer in residence at the Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City. In 2024, I created the new show “China-Girl”, based on David Bowie’s music, touring German-speaking countries. My commitment to cross-cultural musical expressions remains central to my professional journey.
