Afina was raised in many cities in Indonesia, and have lived in more than ten cities up until today. Afina is now working as a PR for Justice Without Borders, a non-profit organization that creates transnational access to legal assistance for victims of labor exploitation and human trafficking so that they can seek rightful compensation, even after returning home. She volunteers in many organizations and social movements, and she hopes that she could still give lectures for university students voluntarily had she has time. Previously worked in IT companies, she also possesses more than solid 5 years of experience doing communication, media, and community relations and management functions in organizations and companies. She achieved an expertise level in Ethnic and Minority Policy from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, where she also minored in Finno-Ugric studies and Postcolonial and South Asian studies. She has a large passion for feminist ethnography, minority issues, anthropology, and grassroots movements. On top of that, she is also competent for qualitative research and social campaign.
