I’m Akeem Towns, an audio engineer, producer, and creative strategist based in Columbus, Ohio. I specialize in live sound, broadcast mixing, studio production, and youth-focused music education.
I currently serve as the Lead Audio Technician at Faith Life Church, where I oversee FOH and Broadcast mixing on Yamaha CL/QL systems, manage Dante networking, and develop technical workflows that support consistent, high-quality audio every week.
I also run True Vine Productions, providing mixing, mastering, audio editing, DJ services, and audio installation support for artists, ministries, and events across Central Ohio.
Alongside my engineering work, I’m an instructor with Columbus Recreation & Parks, teaching beat-making, recording, and mixing at the Linden Community Center. Helping young creators find their voice and build confidence has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
