Alessandro D’Acconti is an Italian film composer whose work weaves emotional intensity with subtle playfulness. He collaborates with filmmakers to create scores that support the narrative while evoking wonder and reflection.
He has worked across a wide range of genres, from dramatic fiction to comedy and documentary. He recently completed the score for the indie film “Io quando esco da qua,” produced by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Palermo and directed by Laura D’Angeli, and collaborated on the documentary “Los Cantos de la Flor de Coco,” directed by Paraguayan filmmaker Giuliano Franco Ochipinti.
Trained as a classical guitarist, he grew up captivated by the bold, expansive sounds of 1970s progressive rock, forging a musical voice that unites the directness of pop and rock with the timbral and harmonic richness of the European classical tradition. He holds a Master’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance and has expanded his expertise through advanced studies in music production, sound engineering, and film scoring.
He is passionate about scoring films where emotion and imagination merge in vivid, boundless worlds.
