Hi, I’m Alina Lomas, a second-year Fine Art student at Manchester Metropolitan University. I am passionate about theatre, film, and storytelling, particularly how set design brings stories to life. I am detail-oriented, imaginative, and I enjoy collaborating with others to develop and realise new ideas. My practice spans detailed painting, drawing, sculpture using ceramics and modelling materials, as well as collage and printmaking. At university I have developed skills in painting, color, and tone to give dimension and meaning to artwork. I have worked collaboratively on themed exhibitions such as Lost and Found, which explored degradation through artworks and photographic collages of historic towns, highlighting the contrast between heritage and modern development.
