This project required a deeply atmospheric, character-driven score that balanced traditional acoustic textures with modern cinematic tension.
My Role & Deliverables:
Narrative Composition: Developed a recurring thematic language to support the film’s psychological tension and 19th-century setting.
Technical Engineering: Managed the full lifecycle of the score, from initial MIDI prototyping and live instrument tracking (Guitar, Percussion, and Found-Sound) to the final theatrical mix.
Hybrid Production: Blended high-end orchestral libraries with organic, “human” performances to ensure a unique, non-digital sonic identity.
Loudness & Delivery: Provided a fully mastered, theatre-ready score, including stems for final dubbing and atmospheric post-production.
The score was instrumental in the film’s critical success on the festival circuit (including FrightFest London), proving my ability to deliver high-stakes, professional audio packages for long-form narrative media.
