Hi, I’m Amalia Ehrenkrona. I’m a recently graduated UX/UI designer with a bachelor’s degree in IT, Media and Design. I studied at Södertörns University, where I studied IT, media and design. During my education I have had the opportunity to work on real UX-projects with real companies and organisations. I’m passionate about creativity and design, and I’m excited to bring my skills to your team. During my studies I completed a hands-on internship at WebLab where my main task was to create Figma designs of websites for everything from kindergartens, funeral homes to steel industries. I have also .worked on a range of UX/UI tasks, and worked on UX-projects with organisations and a municipality. I love turning user insights into intuitive interfaces and meaningful experiences, and I’m eager to continue learning and growing as a designer in a collaborative environment. Alby municipality

Botkyrka municipality assigned us to design a
solution which would improve communication between them and the citizens. Our assigned area was Alby Community Development Department and my solution
aimed to both cater to the need for different languages, as well
as improve the user experience by creating a system where
citizens get updates on their reports.

This project was based in Design thinking and its five phases: Empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Other methods used was: Workshops, interviews, surveys, visual thinking, user experience, interaction design, accessible design, iterative process.

The toolkits used during this project was: Figma, Photoshop, pen and paper.

    Skokloster castle

In collaboration with the Swedish History Museum and Skokloster castle we got the assignment to combine the physical and the digital museum. The castle has one exhibition on the ground floor, and on the upper floors you can take a guided tour through well preserved, historic rooms and learn about the rooms and specific objects history. The upper floors is accessed through multiple stairs, and because of the nature of the exhibition water and food is not allowed. There is no accessible ways, such as elevator or ramps, to access the upper floors This project aimed to create an inclusive solution where people with
impaired physical function, families with small children and casual visitors could experience the exhibitions on the upper floors without going on the tour.

The solution is a screen located on the ground floor of the Castle. It would look like a mall map screen, as seen on the visualisation below. The map is a combined version Google Arts and Culture and a digital museum. This means that the walkaround is like Google Arts and Culture, where the user click on arrows to move through rooms. The exhibition pieces, as well as the rooms, have icons the user can click to see more information. The rooms in which the user already has visited turns to pink, to make it easier to navigate.

This project was conducted based on Design Thinking and its five phases: empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Other methods used was: Accessible design, workshops, interviews, prototyping, personas, interaction design, user experience and iterative process.

The toolkits used were: Figma, Canva, Photoshop

    Stockholm Adventure

Visit Stockholm wants to incorporate a way to experience Stockholm withouttraveling there. For this project we designed a open online game to visit Stockholm, where the player walks around the city to both see the sights, but to also play minigames with friends (or strangers) in virtual bars and restaurants.

This project was conducted based in Design Thinking and its five phases: Empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test. Other methods used during this project was: User research, interaction design, accessible design, user experience, workshops, interviews, testing, visual thinking, market analysis and iterative process.

Toolkits used during this projects were: Canva, Photoshop, clay, pen and paper.

    Dunk brewery

An independent practical thesis project to create a brand identity and website based on a local brewery. This project aims to create both a fun and creative beer brand identity, as well as to create an inclusive branding which is catered to all genders. The result is a fun, maximalistic and nostalgic brand identity, with a graphic profile and website which reflect the product.

This project is based on Design Thinking and was conducted using its five steps: empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. Methods used in this project are: User research, workshops, iterative process, interviews, surveys, prototypes, testing, market analysis, user experience and interaction design.

The toolkits used were: Figma, WordPress, Elementor, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and pen and paper.
