Engineered backend services for Bing’s native ads platform, improving reliability & supporting billion-dollar ad delivery. Brought $20M+ in revenue by introducing cashback ads in Windows prong, during a cross-functional multi-month 1st phase. Expanded reach of banner ads, a new ad type for native ads, by owning the integration of multiple publishers. Subject matter expert on publisher onboarding, onboarding 20+ new publishers to our ads system, increasing revenue. Decreased engineer onboarding time by consulting engineers on their needs and testing a new pre-set VM for my org. Reduced job latency/Spark resource use by removing 70% of unbillable data that partners didn’t need to read from. On point for major Hbase/file/storage migration to a new cluster, while also communicating with partners to not lose data.
