I’m Ana-Maria Sandu, a freelance illustrator from a small town in Romania. I’ve been drawing for a while now, almost 10 years, and I’ve always been interested in bringing characters to life, either through illustration or comics, and helping others create their stories. I have a few projects that I’ve worked on, mostly fanzines and short comic anthologies. For fanzines, I did illustrations for Lost in Nostalgia Zine, LoveStruck: TogaChako Zine, Successor: A DadMight Anthology, and How Not to Die: Camp Half-Blood Edition. As for the short comic anthologies, I did a short comic for the 14th Oneshi Press Anthology- Sidequests, Holiday Spirits: Christmas in July, and Faster than Light Vol. 2 and Volume 5 of Tales from the Dispatch. I love to bring a lot of uniqueness to each character that I create for a story, and I do a lot of research for everything that I draw, from backgrounds to objects and characters.
