Over the past three years, I have been fully dedicated to filmmaking alongside my academic studies, continuously seeking opportunities to learn, experiment, and grow. Much of my experience has come through freelance projects, where I have taken on multiple creative and technical roles, complemented by a six-month internship at KLCK Film Agency. Working across both Romania and the Netherlands has strengthened my adaptability, cultural awareness, and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in different production contexts. These experiences have not only refined my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of how to translate creative visions into professional, audience-focused results.Working at KLCK Film Agency, a commercial and creative film company producing advertisements, campaigns, and short films, expanded my technical and creative abilities in editing, particularly with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. One of my key projects, Women Who Race, allowed me to thrive in a fast-paced environment where client satisfaction and efficiency were essential. I was responsible for sorting and organizing all footage, crafting a cohesive and engaging narrative suitable for a vlog format, setting the pacing, and executing the full edit. Within ten working days, including two rounds of feedback, I delivered a finished product that met all creative and technical expectations. I also created visual effects, selected and synchronized the soundtrack and sound effects, and performed the final colour grade to ensure a polished and dynamic result. At KLCK, I also collaborated with notable clients such as JDE Peet’s, Arcadis, and Frisse Blikken, experiences that strengthened my understanding of brand identity and the importance of precision in commercial storytelling. Beyond this, my involvement in several film competitions, including the 48-Hour Film Project, honed my ability to make fast, creative decisions under strict time constraints. Taking on dual roles as Director of Photography and Editor, I developed adaptability and composure under pressure, ultimately achieving recognition as Best Film at the annual Studio M x Utrecht University Film49 competition. These experiences have shaped me into a disciplined, inventive, and results-driven creative ready to contribute meaningfully to professional post-production environments.
