Andrea D'Eredità was born on 13 August 1999 in Segrate - outside Milan - and grew up in Ostia - outside Rome - where he developed a strong passion for cinema from a young age. After high school, he moved to Turin to study Cinema and Media Engineering at the Polytechnic University, where he obtained his master's degree in 2025. During his university studies, he joined the Studio Ireos student team, with whom he directed the short movies Un ragazzo di nome Sue (A Boy Named Sue) and Dubbio nel buio (Doubt in the Shadow), as well as collaborating as a 1st and 2nd AD on other productions. At the end of his academic cycle, he shot the science fiction short film Eclipse (currently in post-production) with his colleague Alberto Nicco for their master's thesis. At the same time, he worked on third-party projects as a cameraman, editor and colourist. Passionate about genre cinema, he believes in its vitality and expressive potential, which is often underestimated in Italy. His goal is to tell visually powerful stories, rooted in the imagination but capable of speaking to the present.
